1. FEMA officials say they'll expedite Indiana disaster relief (wishtv.com) — Noblesville faces at least $10 million in storm damage, and FEMA now plans to fast-track disaster funding to Indiana so cities like Noblesville can rebuild more quickly. The agency will approve advance funding for qualified projects statewide, aiming to cut delays that especially strain smaller-city budgets and speed repairs to critical infrastructure.

Customer seeks protective order against Noblesville restaurant manager (youarecurrent.com) — A customer is seeking a protective order against the manager of Uptown Cafe in downtown Noblesville after an August 22 dispute over comments about a Muslim teen employee's hijab. 3. 1871 Potter's Covered Bridge 14-29-01 over West Fork White River at Noblesville, IN (blogspot.com subscription) — Record flooding along the White River pushed water up to Potter's Bridge in Noblesville, but Hamilton County Parks officials say the 156-year-old covered bridge survived thanks in part to earlier restoration work. The surrounding park's floodplain design helped absorb high water, and aerial footage shows just how close the river came during this month's historic crest.

4. Gov. Mike Braun, FEMA administrator speak on Carmel bridge flood damage (indystar.com) — Noblesville residents should know their mayor joined state and federal leaders in Carmel as FEMA Administrator Cameron Hamilton and Gov.
