• Serious crash closes I-35/I-80 in Clive; drivers urged to avoid area (kcci.com) — A serious Friday night crash involving a motorcycle and vehicle has closed westbound I-80 and southbound I-35 near Clive, with Urbandale Fire assisting at the scene. Drivers from Urbandale are urged to avoid the area, expect delays, and instead use Northwest 114th or 128th Streets or I-235 while investigators keep the interstate shut, possibly into Saturday morning.
