Drivers in Lexington should prepare for right-lane closures on different sections of New Circle Road Oct. 14–16, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., for bridge deck pothole repairs. 2. Man hospitalized after hit-and-run in Lexington apartment parking lot

A Lexington man is hospitalized with serious injuries after police say a driver intentionally hit him in the Lex Apartments parking lot on South Broadway and then fled. Friends describe extensive fractures and lost work for the local shop owner, while Lexington police continue searching for the suspect and are asking anyone with information to come forward. 3. Lexington Pastafarian Church Founded on a Holy Friday - Valentine's Day

A Lexington-based Pastafarian congregation, the Pastalorian Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster, traces its founding to a symbolic Valentine's Day Holy Friday in 2025. 4. Funeral set for Lexington 6-year-old who passed away earlier this month

Lexington families are being informed that services for 6-year-old Neven Coofer will be held today, with visitation late morning at Historic Pleasant Green Missionary Baptist Church on Maxwell Street and burial at Bluegrass Memorial Gardens in Nicholasville. His parents remember him as a spirited baseball teammate who loved cheering, family time, and the character Stitch. (wkyt.com)    

5. Match Recap: Lexington Draws FC Tulsa, 0-0

Lexington fans saw their club earn a valuable point at home Friday as Lexington Sporting Club battled FC Tulsa to a 0-0 draw, extending an unbeaten streak to five matches.
