Metro Councilman JP Lyninger wants rules to stop problem landlords from buying more Jefferson County properties until they fix existing code violations, after repeated issues tied to one company's holdings.
   

3. Louisville police searching for missing 74-year-old woman last seen near Outer Loop Kroger (wave3.com) — Louisville Metro Police are asking residents to help find 74-year-old Mary Gordan, who needs medical attention and was last seen Wednesday afternoon near the Kroger by Jefferson Mall on Outer Loop. She may be confused, and anyone who spots her is urged to call 911 or LMPD's tip line immediately so officers can check on her safety.
   

4. Louisville group works to make students feel safe at bus stops after deadly shooting (wave3.com) — Louisville men in the group Men Against Gun Violence are volunteering at bus stops to help students feel safer after a 16-year-old Valley High School student was fatally shot near her stop on Beech Street. They recently patrolled 22nd and Chestnut in the Russell neighborhood, where another JCPS student was killed years ago, and are seeking more community volunteers to watch over bus stops.
   

5. Harrodsburg Store Sells $100,000-a-Year Lottery Prize Ticket (centraljersey.com) — A Harrodsburg player has won $100,000 a year for life in the Millionaire for Life lottery game and must travel to Kentucky Lottery headquarters on West Main Street in Louisville to claim the prize. The winner can choose long-term annual payments or a lump sum, and officials are urging them to call ahead to schedule their visit.
