New drone technology helps Louisville Fire extinguish Old Louisville house fire faster (wlky.com) — Louisville firefighters are now using drones to spot hotspots and structural dangers, helping them knock down house fires in Old Louisville and across the city more quickly and safely. 3. Where does demolition stand on Dosker Manor in Louisville? Former residents have been relocated across neighborhoods like Old Louisville and California, while Metro Housing and HUD work through historic reviews, funding, and plans for 300–350 new affordable units and a senior building called The Miller.
   

4. 2 people sentenced in shooting death of Louisville Metro Corrections officer (wave3.com) — Louisville residents are learning the prison terms for two people involved in the 2025 shooting death of Metro Corrections officer Michael Wehdah in the Russell neighborhood. The pair received sentences of six and seven-and-a-half years after plea agreements, while a third defendant awaits sentencing, closing in on accountability for a killing that shook the local corrections community.
