Paducah man charged with taking money for work not done (westkentuckystar.com) — Paducah Police have charged a local man after customers said they paid tens of thousands of dollars for cabinets and flooring through Hometown Decorating but never received the work. Investigators estimate about $45,300 in undelivered goods and services, and the business has since closed. Police believe more victims may be out there and are urging them to contact Paducah Police.

Kentucky PSC to hold public comment meetings on Bluegrass Water's rate increase application (wkms.org) — Paducah residents served by Bluegrass Water face steep proposed increases in sewer and water bills, and the Kentucky PSC will take public comments at a Sept. 2 meeting at the McCracken County Courthouse.
