• Annapolis Resident Facing Assault Charges After Pulling Knife On Woman: Police (patch.com) — Annapolis residents are learning more about a knife-related altercation in the Bywater Mutual Homes community, where police say a 26-year-old local woman pulled a knife on another woman. Both suffered minor injuries, and the suspect now faces first- and second-degree assault and reckless endangerment charges, with a preliminary court hearing set for Oct. 28.
   

• Upcoming Caregiver Workshop in October (aacounty.org) — Annapolis caregivers can attend a free "Dementia 101" workshop at the Busch Annapolis Library on October 15 to learn practical communication tools and coping strategies.
