Ever wonder how smart home technology tells the difference between you and your pet?
We are seeking dog owners and their four-legged companions to assist in testing next-generation technology designed to distinguish between human and non-human movement in home environments!
What You Will Do
Location: Onsite, realistic mock-apartment setup in the Rockville, MD area.
Duration: 1-hour private, 1-on-1 session with an onsite moderator.
Activities: You and your dog will perform routine, everyday household activities guided by the moderator, such as walking room-to-room, playing, or searching for treats, while motion-tracking devices evaluate the environment.
Participant Requirements
To be eligible, you must be located in Rockville, MD or within a 1-hour drive of the area, and be willing to travel to the testing facility. You must own a well-socialized dog, be comfortable participating in light physical activity alongside your pet, and have availability on weekdays.
The total payout is $150, which covers 1 hour of onsite testing and round-trip travel time (to and from the site).
Note: This is an onsite project. To participate, you must be located in Rockville, MD or the surrounding areas. If you live or work outside of these areas, we kindly ask that you pass on this opportunity.
