What's Known So Far About The Valentine's Day Shooting?

To date, the Montgomery County Police Department identified the 87-year-old Robert Fuller Jr. as the man who was fatally shot on Feb. 14 at the Cogir Potomac Senior Living facility.

Police were first called to the facility for reports of an unresponsive person just after 7:30 p.m. Investigators say Fuller was shot and that he had suffered serious head trauma. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Local media outlets reported that Fuller was originally a Maine resident, having worked as a lawyer, philanthropist and serving in the U.S. Navy as a senior reserve officer.

Fuller moved to the area just a few years ago as his wife had family in the Montgomery County area. He stayed in the region after she died.
