Brandywine Man Killed In Head-On Crash In PG County
Prince George's County authorities said the fatal two-car crash occurred Monday afternoon in Upper Marlboro.
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — A 23-year-old Brandywine man was killed in a head-on crash in Upper Marlboro, according to Prince George's County police.
Officers responded to the 11900 block of Croom Road around 3:30 p.m. on Monday for a two-vehicle collision, police said in a news release.
Authorities identified the man who died as Juan Hawkins, 23, of Brandywine. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the second vehicle was taken to a hospital with severe but non-life-threatening injuries.
According to a preliminary investigation, both vehicles were traveling on Croom Road when they collided head-on. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

The Prince George's County Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is investigating.
