Electric Scooter Driver Killed By Vehicle In Clinton
A Clinton man driving an electric scooter died after he was hit by a vehicle heading in the same direction, police report.
CLINTON, MD — A 43-year-old Clinton man died after he was hit by a vehicle while driving an electric scooter.
The incident happened on Monday around 10:25 p.m. in the 8100 block of Old Branch Avenue. Prince George's police officers were called to the scene, where they found the driver of the involved car with injuries not considered life-threatening.
Tippett died at the scene, according to police.

The preliminary investigation found that both Tippett and the driver were heading in the same direction on Old Branch Avenue. For unknown reasons, the driver hit the electric scooter near the intersection of Manor Road.
