Man Fatally Shot In Clinton

CLINTON, MD — A 37-year-old District Heights man was fatally shot early Sunday morning in Clinton.

Prince George's police officers were called to the 10700 block of Piscataway Road around 1:15 a.m. for a report of a shooting. They found 37-year-old Arsenio Cleckley inside a home with a gunshot wound, according to police.

Emergency workers administered life-saving measures, but Cleckley died at the scene.

According to the police department, the shooter and the victim knew each other. Police did not release information about the shooter; however, charges could be pending.
