Suitland Man Fatally Shot In Apartment

SUITLAND, MD — A Suitland man has died after he was fatally shot inside an apartment early Monday morning.

Prince George's Police officers were called to the apartment located in the 3500 block of Terrace Drive around 2:45 a.m. May 18. They found 23-year-old Dwight Young of Suitland with a gunshot wound.

Young was taken to the hospital for treatment, but he died of his injuries, according to police.

The police department stated that all parties involved in the shooting have been identified and knew each other.

Detectives are working with the Prince George’s County State’s Attorney’s Office regarding any charges in this case.
