Suspect Arrested In Teen's Fatal Stabbing

A 30-year-old Suitland man has been arrested in the fatal stabbing of 17-year-old Amari Clarke of Suitland earlier this month.

SUITLAND, MD — Police have arrested the suspect wanted in the fatal stabbing of 17-year-old Amari Clarke of Suitland.

The Prince George’s County Police Department Fugitive Unit located and arrested 30-year-old Anforne Golden of Suitland in Silver Spring.

On May 8 at approximately 12:20 p.m., Prince George's police officers were called to the 3800 block of St. Barnabas Road for the report of a stabbing. Clarke was found suffering from stab wounds. He died a short time later at a hospital.

The preliminary investigation indicates that Golden stabbed Clarke during an argument. The suspect and victim knew each other, according to police.

Golden has been charged with first- and second-degree murder, as well as first- and second-degree assault.
