• Golf Tournament In Harford Co. Friday Continues Support Of HBCUs (patch.com) — Havre de Grace readers are invited to join a charitable golf outing Friday supporting Historically Black Colleges and Universities through the Settle Memorial Fund. The 8th Annual Settle Memorial Golf Tournament at The Country Club at Woodmore will feature an 18-hole competition, putting contest, catered lunch, and prizes, while directing $25,000 this year to Morehouse College's athletic film and nutrition station.
   

• Havre de Grace formalizes civilian safety team after shooting in Bully Rock (harfordcountysun.com) — Havre de Grace has officially made its Community Emergency Response Team part of the city police department after a violent car theft in Bully Rock, giving trained volunteers a formal role in public safety. The council backed the mayor's executive order while insisting any future city spending on the team get council approval, and volunteer training is ongoing for residents who want to help.
   

• Medina Leads Golden Wolves to Second Place Finish at The Battle at Bulle Rock (auwolves.com) — A collegiate men's golf tournament at Bulle Rock Golf Club in Havre de Grace saw Alvernia University's Golden Wolves secure a strong second-place team finish. Several players posted top-10 individual scores over the two-day Battle at Bulle Rock, giving local golf fans a detailed look at how the field performed ahead of the team's next event this weekend.
