• 2027 Maryland Teacher of the Year finalists announced (coasttv.com) — Cockeysville will host the gala at Martin's Valley Mansion where Maryland's 2027 Teacher of the Year will be announced on October 9, bringing a major statewide education spotlight to town. Seven local school system finalists from across Maryland will be honored, with the winner later competing for National Teacher of the Year.
