• Maryland Man Convicted in $6 Million Multi-State Vehicle Theft Scheme (mocoshow.com) — A Hyattsville man has been convicted in a large multi-state vehicle theft and fraud scheme involving more than 150 cars worth over $6 million, with sentencing set for January 15, 2027. Federal investigators say the group used stolen identities, key fob copies, and tow trucks to take vehicles from dealerships and neighborhoods, with Prince George's County police helping crack the case.
