• NASA's nuclear Dragonfly copter to search for signs of life on Titan: 'A lot's riding on it' (latimes.com subscription) — Work on NASA's Dragonfly mission is underway at Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Lab in Laurel, where engineers are assembling a nuclear-powered rotorcraft that will explore Saturn's moon Titan. The $3.3 billion mission, scheduled to launch in 2028, has survived shifting federal budgets and will search for signs of past or present life in Titan's icy, methane-rich environment.
