• Royal Farms Worker Says He Tried To Stop Stabbing Suspect, Now Faces Attempted Murder Charges (thebaynet.com) — A Lexington Park Royal Farms worker facing attempted murder charges says he was trying to protect a co-worker during a December stabbing outside the Tulagi Place store. Court records describe a chaotic scene that ended with a pickup striking the alleged stabber near South Coral Drive. Upcoming hearings in Leonardtown will determine how prosecutors’ version of events holds up against his defense.
   

• Leonardtown Woman Charged With Indecent Exposure, Trespassing at Lexington Park Liquor Store (smnewsnet.com) — Deputies say a woman from Leonardtown was charged after allegedly refusing to leave Canopy Liquors on Great Mills Road in Lexington Park, disturbing customers and reportedly exposing herself outside the store earlier this month. She was arrested, then released on recognizance with orders to avoid new offenses and appear in court. Residents may notice increased enforcement around that business.
