Free Dementia Care Workshop Planned In Reisterstown

REISTERSTOWN, MD — A free workshop for spouses and adult children caring for someone with dementia will be held Nov. 15 from 2-3:30 p.m. at Reisterstown United Methodist Church.

"Enduring Love Despite Dementia" will focus on maintaining relationships while caregiving, drawing on research and Dr. Gary Chapman's book, "Keeping Love Alive When Memory Fades."

Dementia coach Dr. Cate will lead the interactive workshop, the final event in a three-part dementia care series. Attendees will receive free workbooks.

The workshop will take place in the church's Fellowship Hall at 246 Main St. Advance registration is required through the online form or by calling 410-833-5440. Donations are welcome.
