• Diane Coleen Simpson, 71 (coastalpoint.com) — A woman born in Takoma Park in 1955, Diane Coleen Simpson, has died at 71 after living much of her life in Maryland and building a long career with the U.S. Supreme Court's library. Her family remembers her love of books, baking, beaches, and especially time with her three grandsons; a private family celebration of life is planned later.
