Baltimore County Office Building Sells For $2.2 Million (patch.com) — A fully leased 1970s-era office building on East Joppa Road in Parkville has sold for $2.2 million, drawing strong interest because such properties rarely hit the market in the east Towson area. The new owner plans upgrades to boost the building's appearance, marketability, and efficiency, while a fresh lease with SecurityPlus Federal Credit Union is expected to push occupancy even higher this fall.
   

2. Police Blotter Sept. 15 to Sept. 21 (thetowerlight.com) — Recent campus and neighborhood crime around Towson includes multiple e-scooter thefts, drug and alcohol violations, stalking, graffiti and several dating-related assaults reported to Towson University Police between Sept. 15 and 20. Baltimore County Police Precinct 6, which covers Towson, reported no new incidents in this period, giving residents a focused snapshot of current safety issues near campus.
   

3. Goucher College Graduate School Fair (umbc.edu) — Goucher College is hosting a Fall 2026 Graduate School Fair right here in Towson on Tuesday, Oct. 6, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 1021 Dulaney Valley Road. Local students can meet representatives from a range of graduate programs, ask admissions questions, and explore next-step career and education options without leaving town.
   

4. The Week in Winners: $540,000 Multi-Match jackpot in Towson is week's biggest Maryland Lottery prize (nottinghammd.com) — A $540,000 Multi-Match jackpot ticket sold at Towson Shell on York Road was the biggest Maryland Lottery prize of the week. The winner, still unclaimed as of Sept. 21, has 182 days to come forward, while other Maryland players collected more than $28.5 million in prizes statewide.
   

5. PREVIEW: Field Hockey set to face American and Towson - University of Maine Athletics (goblackbears.com) — Maine's field hockey team is heading to Towson University this Sunday, Sept. 27, for a noon matchup at the Towson University Field Hockey Complex. Local fans can catch the Tigers, currently 3-5, hosting the Black Bears, with streaming and live stats links already available for those following from around Towson.
