• Driver Sentenced In Vehicular Death Of 3-Year-Old Prince George's Child (patch.com) — A serious crash case tied to Prince George's County ended with a Capitol Heights driver receiving nine years in prison for the death of 3-year-old Zoey Harrison, after sentencing in Upper Marlboro. The tragedy also prompted "Zoey's Law," tightening police pursuit policies across county departments, and the child's family has filed a lawsuit alleging negligent pursuit practices.
