Maryland Man Of Indian Origin Pleads Guilty In Tech-Support Fraud Case (indicanews.com) — Two men from Westminster have pleaded guilty in a multi-year tech-support fraud scheme that stole millions from more than 1,000 victims nationwide. Federal prosecutors say the group used fake pop-ups and calls, then funneled payments through shell companies, and the Westminster defendants now face significant prison time when sentenced in U.S. District Court.
