Lawrence Man Charged After Fleeing Andover Rush-Hour Highway Crash: State Police (patch.com) — A multi-vehicle crash on Route 93 North near Dascomb Road in Andover during Tuesday's morning commute shut down two lanes for over an hour and caused major backups. State Police say a Lawrence man tried to flee the scene but was quickly caught and now faces OUI and several motor vehicle charges in Lawrence District Court.

Andover, North Andover Rabies Clinic Set For Dogs, Cats (patch.com) — Pet owners in Andover and North Andover can get low-cost rabies vaccinations for their dogs and cats at a Nov. 9 clinic at North Andover Town Hall. The event requires pre-registration, accepts cash only, and offers discounted pricing for local residents, with clear rules on leashes, carriers, and handling aggressive animals.
   

3. Andover Seeks Public Input On Chandler Road Playground Plan (patch.com) — Andover residents are invited to a public meeting Wednesday evening to share ideas on the new playground planned for the Chandler Road Recreational Area. Town staff and the project's landscape architects will present design concepts and gather feedback on equipment and layout at the Andover Recreation Building on Magnolia Avenue.

Residents Press Andover Officials For Answers On Cyberattack (andovermanews.com) — Andover residents are pressing town officials for clearer information about the August cyberattack that shut down municipal computer systems and delayed public school teacher assignments. At the Select Board meeting, the town manager said legal and cybersecurity advice is limiting what can be shared but promised a future public presentation. Residents are demanding a timeline, transparency about potential data exposure, and answers on past technology spending and infrastructure protections.
   

5. Area Roundup: Salem volleyballers stop Astros, stay unbeaten (cnhi.com) — Andover athletes had a big day, with volleyball sweeping Haverhill behind dominant performances from Kiki Wright and teammates, and field hockey rolling past Methuen 6-0 thanks to Halle Tisbert's three goals. The roundup also highlights strong showings from North Andover teams, plus Methuen, Salem, Pinkerton and others across volleyball, soccer, golf, swimming and cross country.
