ATTLEBORO, MA — North Attleborough is bringing the community together later this month to celebrate the freedom to read.
On Wednesday, Oct. 28, the town will host its Free to Read event at Richards Memorial Library, 118 N. Washington St., from 2:30 to 7:30 p.m.
This year's event will celebrate the enactment of the Act Regarding Free Expression, recently signed into law by Gov. Maura Healey. The legislation aims to protect access to library materials and safeguard against politically motivated book bans.
