Local educator Sean Hagan selected winners across multiple categories, with Kathy Deflice-Secor's piece "Triton" earning Best in Show and several Bedford-connected artists recognized for standout 2D, 3D, and original works.

Missing Massachusetts Man's Body Recovered from the Water In York (z1073.com) — An 84-year-old Bedford resident, Chester Benjamin Wiggins, was found deceased Friday afternoon in the waters off York, Maine, after going missing while boating near Cape Neddick. Authorities say his overturned boat was discovered Wednesday, prompting a multi-day land and sea search involving the Coast Guard, Maine Marine Patrol, and York first responders. An autopsy will determine his cause of death.
   

5. Hepworth's scoring streak keeps Patriots boys soccer team undefeated (concordbridge.org) — Concord-Carlisle's boys soccer team stayed unbeaten with a strong week that included a 2–0 win over Bedford on September 14, where the Patriots scored in each half. Earlier, they edged Lincoln-Sudbury and drew Cambridge Rindge & Latin behind standout goalkeeping and gritty defense. Bedford fans can see how their team stacked up and which CCHS players made the difference.
