Arts Fest Beverly will kick off with a reception for the Endicott Community Arts Exhibition at Endicott College.

That event is set for June 18 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Walter J. Manninen Center for the Arts at 406 Hale Street. It will include local artwork, catering and remarks from Endicott College and Beverly Main Streets staff.

“This Arts Fest is our biggest yet," said Becki Greene, Manager of Community Engagement at Beverly Main Streets. "We're extending the footprint by another block to include more vendors, and the event will run until 5 p.m. this year instead of 4 p.m.

"That's a whole extra hour to shop, dine, and treat yourself to everything Arts Fest has to offer."

There will be downtown road closures that day.

Cabot Street will be closed to regular traffic from Judson Street to Wallis Street, with portions of side streets also closed, starting at 7 a.m. and ending at 7 p.m.

Attendees are encouraged to bike or take public transit if possible, because parking will be limited.
