Boston Shooting That Left Person Wounded Leads To Arrest
The victim of this incident reportedly suffered injuries to both legs.
BOSTON, MA — A man is facing multiple charges in connection with a shooting that left a person with gunshot wounds to both legs last week in Roxbury, according to the Boston Police Department.
Shawn Padilla, 47, of Mattapan, was arrested Wednesday by members of the Boston Police Fugitive Unit and the United States Marshals Service in connection with the Aug. 26 shooting at 288 Roxbury St.
Officers responded to the area at approximately 9:15 p.m. following a report of a person shot. Upon arrival, officers found a victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds to both legs.

Officers applied a tourniquet before the victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Padilla is expected to be arraigned in Roxbury District Court on charges of assault to murder, attempted assault and battery with a firearm, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a dwelling, and carrying a loaded firearm, third offense.
