1. 2 Arrested After Drugs And Ammunition Found In Boston Raid (patch.com) — Boston police say a joint narcotics operation in the Georgetowne Drive area led to the arrest of two Hyde Park men and the seizure of cocaine, fentanyl, marijuana, cash, and ammunition. The suspects are expected to be arraigned in West Roxbury District Court on a range of drug trafficking and firearms-related charges, highlighting an ongoing focus on neighborhood-level enforcement in the city.
   

2. One arrested in Hyde Park scooter enforcement operation (newportdispatch.com) — Boston police arrested one person and summonsed 10 others during a scooter and moped enforcement sweep in Hyde Park this week, towing 10 vehicles for traffic violations along Hyde Park Avenue. Residents are urged to report similar unsafe riding or illegal activity to Boston Police or anonymously through CrimeStoppers, as the department plans more traffic safety operations citywide.
   

3. Flags placed at Boston Public Garden to honor lives lost in 9/11 attacks 25 years ago (cbsnews.com) — Nearly 3,000 flags now fill Boston's Public Garden, each honoring a life lost in the 9/11 attacks, including victims who departed from Logan Airport. Local students, veterans, and families helped install the display, and Friday's commemorations at the State House will include a name reading, moment of silence, and a civilian bravery award presentation.

Mattapan residents protest proposed bus lanes in center of Blue Hill Ave. (nbcboston.com) — Mattapan residents and Boston officials are clashing over a proposal to put center-running bus lanes down Blue Hill Avenue, a project backed by the city and MBTA but fiercely opposed by many locals. Protesters and Boston City Councilor Miniard Culpepper say the design is unsafe and ignores community preferences, while Mayor Michelle Wu insists plans can still change and urges continued feedback at upcoming sessions.
   

5. Sophomore launches dating app exclusively for BU students (dailyfreepress.com) — Boston University students now have a new campus-only dating option with the launch of Campus Crush, a free app that requires BU email verification to keep the user base local and reduce fake profiles. Created by a BU sophomore, the app borrows familiar swipe and prompt features from major platforms while focusing on safety, affordability, and future on-campus promotions and student ambassador roles.
