Andover Woman Killed In Late-Night Boat Crash Near Logan Airport
Boston EMS said four people were rescued in the crash late Wednesday night.
BOSTON — An Andover woman was killed and three other people were injured in a boat crash near Logan International Airport late Wednesday night.
Boston Emergency Medical Services said that multiple units responded to the crash into a pier near the airport at about 11:20 p.m.
State police told CBS Boston that all four were taken to Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. A 24-year-old woman, whom the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office identified as Elizabeth Dankert of Andover, was later pronounced dead.

Boston EMS said the difficult conditions included "darkness and slippery shoreline rocks" as EMTs George May and Andrea Albano rushed to help the victims.
"Working in close coordination with Massport Fire, crews carefully extricated four patients from the rocks," Boston EMS said.

As of Thursday morning, police did not reveal the identities of the other two women and one man on the boat, or possible reasons for the crash.
