• Brockton Man Gets Maximum Sentence In Child Exploitation Case (patch.com) — Residents in Brockton are learning that 74-year-old Raymond F. Clinton Jr. has received the maximum 30-year federal prison sentence for sexually exploiting a child he abused over several years, including at his Brockton home. The case, investigated with help from Brockton police and local prosecutors, also involves a separate pending state prosecution on multiple child rape and assault charges. 
• Press Release Brockton Firefighter Honored as Fire & Life Safety Educator of the Year (mass.gov) — Brockton firefighter Peter Reardon has been named Massachusetts' 2026 Fire & Life Safety Educator of the Year for his extensive outreach to local seniors and schoolchildren. From monthly Council on Aging visits to hundreds of classroom presentations, his efforts have helped double student fire safety test scores and support statewide declines in fires and fire-related injuries.
