• Burlington Police Collaborate With Schools, Community Members to Raise Awareness Amid Rising E-Bike Use (burlington.buzz) — Burlington police and school resource officers are ramping up an education campaign on safe e-bike and scooter use after several local accidents involving kids, though none have been serious. Officers are visiting schools, sharing safety flyers with families, and even rewarding helmet use, aiming to build awareness and voluntary compliance before a serious crash happens in town. 
• What New Kratom Restrictions Mean for Burlington Residents (bcattv.org) — Burlington residents should know that kratom products are now illegal to sell or possess in Massachusetts without special registration, and local retailers have been ordered to pull them from shelves. Burlington's Board of Health had already been exploring a local ban and is urging parents, educators, and businesses to learn how to recognize kratom products and their risks, while offering direct contact information for local questions.
