• Gov. Healey Appoints 2 New North Shore Community College Trustees (patch.com) — North Shore Community College, headquartered in Danvers, is getting two new trustees appointed by Gov. Maura Healey, bringing deep experience in manufacturing, workforce development, and financial services. Their backgrounds in employee training, healthcare cost planning, and state health policy are expected to strengthen NSCC's mission of education and workforce development for North Shore communities, including Danvers residents.
   

• Aldi to cut prices on a third of products (boston25news.com) — Aldi is temporarily cutting prices on about a third of its groceries nationwide, and that includes the store on Independence Way in Danvers. From produce to chicken, coffee, and paper goods, the discounts run through at least Nov. 3, potentially saving shoppers an estimated $85 million overall as other chains like Walmart and Kroger also compete on price.
