Hyannis Arts Hall presents New England talk radio legend and New York Times best-selling author Howie Carr, on stage Sunday, August 16 from 4 to 5:30 pm. Carr, host of the largest syndicated talk radio show in New England, will bring his unmistakable blend of outspoken passion and confrontational conservative politics to the Hyannis Arts Hall. The hall continues as an emerging hub for music, theater and film in the Historic East End of Hyannis, located at 81 Willow Avenue, across from the former Plymouth & Brockton bus terminal.

In 2015, Howie Carr launched The Howie Carr Radio Network, the first host-owned radio network in New England. Carr quickly grew his network from a few stations in Massachusetts to more than 20 terrestrial radio stations across New England. The Howie Carr Radio Network is the only radio network reaching a majority of the 14 million people living in New England.Carr has authored numerous books, including the bestselling The Brothers Bulger, Hitman, and other works focused on Boston’s underworld and political corruption. Copies of some titles will be available for sale at his appearance.


Doors will open 30 minutes before the 4 pm talk, with seating on a first come first served basis except for contributor ticket holders, who will be seated in front rows. Beverages, and snacks will be available for purchase. Tickets can be purchased at eventbrite.com for $35 general admission including fees; $100 for contributing tickets. Hyannis Arts Hall is part of the 501[c]3 nonprofit Hyannis Arts & Film, along with Hyannis Film Festival and Hyannis Arts & Flea. Hyannis Arts & Film is devoted to bringing the performing arts and cultural events to Hyannis and Cape Cod, with an additional mission to boost the local economy. Hyannis Arts Hall may also be rented for events.
