• 'He had a lot of dreams': Family mourns Vernon youth who died while paddleboarding in Cape Cod pond (ctpost.com) — Emergency crews responded to Jenkins Pond in Falmouth on August 31 after 18-year-old Abdullah Naveed of Vernon fell from a paddleboard and was later pronounced dead at a nearby hospital. State Police and the Cape and Islands District Attorney's Office are still investigating, while his grieving family remembers his ambitions and the outpouring of support they've received.
