20-Year-Old Framingham Hot Dog Stand Enters A New Era: Report

FRAMINGHAM, MA — With a change of ownership, a popular roadside hot dog stand in Framingham is entering a new era.

Zippity Do Dog, at 160 Speen St., officially changed hands on May 12, according to the MetroWest Daily News.

Alan and Paponake MacIntosh, owners of Doragon Eatery in Ashland, took over the Framingham food truck after purchasing it from owner Roland Houle.

Houle, who operated the stand for seven years, stepped away to pursue a new career opportunity.

The new owners plan to keep the stand’s signature hot dogs, including the same brands and toppings that longtime customers have come to expect.

The stand has been serving up dogs and other fare for 20 years.
