• More upcoming work on Green and Orange lines as MBTA plans partial shutdowns (masslive.com) — Framingham riders face a full weekend shutdown of the Framingham/Worcester commuter rail line between Framingham and South Station on Sept. 19–20, with shuttle buses replacing trains and free fares between Worcester and Framingham. The MBTA is also closing key sections of the Green, Orange, Red, and Blue lines for signal and track work, so expect longer trips and check shuttle options before commuting into Boston.
