1. 30-year-old woman killed in Framingham pedestrian crash (boston.com) — A 30-year-old Framingham woman, Michelle Poisson, died after being struck by an SUV on Worcester Road around 12:30 a.m. Saturday, with the driver remaining at the scene. She was taken to MetroWest Medical Center, where she later died, and investigators from the Middlesex District Attorney's Office are still examining what led to the crash.

A Dog Was Allegedly Dragged Beside A Moving Truck While Its Leash Was Held Through The Window (greatergood.com) — Framingham police arrested a 23-year-old man after witnesses reported a dog being dragged outside a moving truck by its leash on a Sunday afternoon, leading to an animal-cruelty charge. The dog was taken to a veterinary hospital and is now under Framingham Animal Control's care, while the case moves through Framingham District Court and alarms local neighbors.

Mezzo-soprano Fanny Lora will perform free concert in Framingham MA (metrowestdailynews.com) — Framingham residents can catch a free classical concert by Dominican-American mezzo-soprano Fanny Lora at the main Framingham Public Library on Saturday, Sept. 26, at 3 p.m. The program blends European opera arias with Spanish and Latin American works, includes new arrangements, and offers a chance to talk with the musicians afterward.

Natick MA woman, 90, ID'd as victim of fatal crash on Pond Street (metrowestdailynews.com) — A Natick woman, 90-year-old Norma Dupuis, died after a two-vehicle crash on Pond Street, with doctors pronouncing her dead at MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham. Police say the other vehicle appears to have crossed the center line, and the investigation by Natick Police, State Police and the Middlesex DA's Office is ongoing.
