Her work connects Massachusetts residents with SNAP help and the FoodSource Hotline, and she'll now help lead communications around policy, advocacy, and direct food assistance programs that Medford families can access.

2. No. 1 Men's Soccer Kicks Off 2026 With 2-0 NESCAC Victory Over Trinity (Conn.) This expanded program aims to ensure Medford crews can act quickly and seamlessly with neighboring departments during a crisis, building on Massachusetts' nationally recognized standards for handling hostile events.

Antonio (Tony) Politano, 84 (thequincysun.com) — Medford readers may recognize the Politano family, as Antonio (Tony) Politano's brother Vittorio lives in Medford while Tony himself spent nearly sixty years in Quincy. The 84-year-old Italian-born barber, builder, and property owner is remembered as generous, hardworking, and devoted to his large extended family, with visiting hours and funeral services scheduled in Quincy next week.
