- Stravinsky: Pulcinella Suite
- Resphigi: Ancient Airs & Dances, Suite II
- Tchaikovsky: Mozartiana Suite
Join us as we celebrate the Heritage of a great culture of musical art forms from three and four centuries past, as illuminated and exalted in the creations of composers that came a century or two later, but more than that, we celebrate a Heritage of culture and community and the ancestors who kept the flame burning to hand on to us, this present generation.
This concert will pay homage to CHSO's dear friend, The Honorable Judge Francis Larkin.
Claflin Hill Symphony will present new repertoire from the pens of the great composers we have often visited and are so familiar with -- Resphigi, Stravinsky and Tchaikovsky – icons of their own generational styles turn their creative vocabulary back to the roots of Classical music. Tchaikovsky’s Homage to Mozart based on themes and styles of the Master, along with Stravinsky and Resphigi’s charming, elegant and powerful settings of Italian Baroque lute and chamber orchestra music – brought to life in full modern, orchestral “Technicolor” soundscape created by your own virtuosic CHSO!
