MARK YOUR CALENDAR! All Milford residents are invited to meet the candidates running in Milford's Annual Town Election at this year's CANDIDATE FORUM on Monday, March 16 in Upper Town Hall. Arrive at 6:30 p.m. to meet the candidates. The forum will begin at 7:00 p.m. sharp. This event is free and open to the public.
Citizens for Milford is organizing this event in partnership with Milford TV to help inform Milford voters prior to the election on Tuesday, April 7. Milford TV will broadcast the forum live on the public channel (Comcast 8 | Verizon 38), Verizon channel HD2140, MilfordTV.net, and live streaming on YouTube.com/mymilfordtv. The video will be available to watch on demand on YouTube.com/mymilfordtv in the weeks leading up to the election.
Candidates running for the one open seat on the Board of Health who will be participating include Rosemary Cerqueira, Diana Haynes, and Scott Vecchiolla. Candidates running unopposed who will be participating include Select Board incumbent Thomas J. O’Loughlin, Town Clerk incumbent Amy Hennessy Neves, Town Moderator incumbent Michelangelo Bon Tempo, Tree Warden and Gypsy Moth Superintendent Charles Reneau, School Committee incumbents Michael Aghajanian and Brendan Rickert, Vernon Grove Trustee incumbent Scott Crisafulli, and Vernon Grove Trustee newcomer M.E. Cissy Hull-Allen. Other candidates who will be participating will be announced on the Citizens for Milford website (CitizensforMilford.com) once confirmed.
