• Massachusetts firefighters train for building collapses (metrowestdailynews.com) — Sudbury firefighters are among those receiving advanced training to handle building collapses and other complex rescues through the Massachusetts Firefighting Academy's Structural Collapse Rescue Technician program. The free, eight-day course in Bridgewater teaches firefighters to stabilize damaged structures, move heavy debris, and reach trapped victims. This expanded training boosts Sudbury's readiness for rare but high-risk emergencies at home and beyond.
