Local leaders are preparing for a possible 2027 eligibility period, new building committee, and a Town Meeting vote on a feasibility study, with enrollment growth from projects like Vinnin Square shaping what the school could become.

• Junior Duo Shines in Big Blue Football Opener (swampscotttides.org) — Swampscott football fans saw a strong start to the season as the Big Blue beat St. Mary's of Lynn 31–6 at Blocksidge Field, powered by juniors Quinn Palmer and Jameson O'Keefe. With momentum from this home win, the team now heads to Lynn's Manning Field on Friday, September 18, aiming to repeat last year's close victory over Lynn English.
