Man Accused In Tewksbury Vehicle Break-Ins, Police Say (patch.com) — Tewksbury residents are learning more about a series of vehicle break-ins on Main Street and Apache Way, where wallets, cash, and cards were stolen and later used in Tewksbury and nearby communities. Police say a 23-year-old Malden man faces more than 30 related charges after an investigation that involved cooperation with other departments and led to his arraignment in Lowell District Court.

The local nonprofit has already rehabilitated multiple Tewksbury gardens and is drawing residents into hands-on conservation, with hopes of seeing thousands of monarchs return each year.

New England High School Football Top 25 Regional Rankings (Sept. 28, 2026) (newsbreak.com) — Tewksbury Memorial High's football team is off to a 3-0 start and now ranks No. 10 in New England, with a convincing 36–14 win over Lowell last week. The Redmen are favored to keep their streak alive at home Friday against Chelmsford, as regional rankings shuffle after several high-profile Massachusetts and Rhode Island matchups.
   

5. Shawsheen Connection for September (thebedfordcitizen.org) — Shawsheen Tech's superintendent says a revised fiscal 2027 budget, adjusted after spring Town Meeting concerns, is now being presented to officials in Tewksbury and Billerica with no new feasibility-study costs for sending towns. Tewksbury families also get updates on new district leaders, co-op success for seniors, and a slate of October school events from midterms to a college fair.
