• ARREST LOG: Wilmington Police Make 1 Arrest & Issue 6 Summonses [September 4-10, 2026] (wilmingtonapple.com) — Wilmington residents can see a full rundown of recent police activity from September 4–10, including one shoplifting arrest at Target and several traffic-related summonses involving suspended licenses and registrations. Names, ages, and charges are listed, along with a reminder that all individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

• Wilmington backs Koh in state primary (homenewshere.com) — Wilmington voters backed Dan Koh in the Democratic primary for the MA-6 congressional seat, giving him 1,445 votes and setting up a November race against Republican Micah Jones. The town also favored Ed Markey over Seth Moulton in the Senate primary and helped shape statewide tickets for governor, attorney general, and other offices, with local tallies listed for several contested races.

• Tiny turtles on the march, a highway bridge mishap, and a wild pool party (bostonglobe.com) — A recent regional police-log roundup includes a Wilmington incident where a caller reported a white Dodge Durango at the Savers lot on Main Street, fearing one man was being restrained by others. Police later learned the group were friends just fooling around, and confirmed there was no emergency, but the call shows how quickly residents react to potential trouble nearby.
