Woman Fatally Struck By Tow Truck In Worcester
She was struck by a flatbed tow truck near Canterbury and Grand streets
WORCESTER, MA — A 39-year-old woman died Wednesday after she was struck by a flatbed tow truck near Canterbury and Grand streets, according to Worcester police.
The crash happened Wednesday near the intersection, where police closed Canterbury Street and Grand Street in both directions during the investigation. Both roads have since reopened.
Police said the driver involved in the crash remained at the scene. The woman’s name was not immediately released pending notification of her family.
The investigation will determine whether any charges are filed, police said.
