Holy Cross Women's Basketball Wins League Tournament, Heads To March Madness
The team will now head to the first round of March Madness to play Michigan.

WORCESTER, MA — The College of the Holy Cross women's basketball team is headed to the NCAA Tournament.
The team, led by Patriot League Tournament MVP Kaitlyn Flanagan, beat Lehigh to win the league tournament title, the school announced. The team took down No. 4 seed Lehigh 77-7 in the championship game at Hart Center Arena in Worcester on Sunday.
This marks the Crusaders' third conference tournament title in the last four seasons, according to the school. It's also their 14th overall championship.

Flanagan was named tournament MVP after averaging 11 points, six assists, 1.7 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game on 50 percent shooting.

Senior player Meg Calahan was also named on the All-Tournament Team, leading the Crusaders in scoring over three games, the school said.
The Holy Cross women will now head to Ann Arbor, Michigan, to compete in the first round of March Madness. They'll play the Michigan Wolverines on Friday. Tip-off it set for 5:30 p.m.
The winner of that game will move on to the second round on Sunday, Mar. 22.
