Human Remains Found In Woods Behind Worcester Home
The remains were found Thursday afternoon in the woods behind a Worcester home, police said.
WORCESTER, MA — Human remains were found Thursday afternoon in the woods behind a Worcester home, police said.
The remains were located behind 4 Brandt Lane after a call came in at about 1:07 p.m., according to the Worcester Police Department. The state Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has accepted the case and the Worcester County District Attorney’s Office has been notified.
The cause of death is pending an autopsy, police said.
Worcester police crime scene investigators and detectives are still investigating.
