Worcester County Nonprofit To Unveil New Advocacy Mural
CASA Project Worcester County will unveil a new mural next week recognizing the organization's work with children, youth and families.

WORCESTER, MA — CASA Project Worcester County will unveil a new mural next week recognizing the organization’s work with children, youth and families across the region.
The mural was created by awen&co after CASA Project Worcester County was selected for the awen&co Nonprofit Mural Giveaway. The artwork was installed at CASA’s Worcester office and is meant to reflect the organization’s advocacy for children involved in the child welfare system.
CASA will host “CASA in Color: A Mural Unveiling” at 3 p.m. Wednesday at its office at 100 Grove St., Suite 403, in Worcester. Community members, supporters and local partners are invited to attend.
“Out of all the incredible nominations we received from across Worcester County, your organization stood out for the meaningful work you do in our community, and we are so excited to help bring a piece of art to life in your space,” an awen&co representative said.
Julie Bowditch, executive director of CASA Project Worcester County, said the mural reflects the full scope of the organization’s work.
“The mural represents the full picture of CASA’s advocacy work — from investigation to impact — and reflects a community that continues to show up for youth and families,” Bowditch said.
CASA Project Worcester County recruits, trains and supports volunteers who advocate for the best interests of children involved in the child welfare system. The organization’s mission is to help ensure every child in foster care has a safe, permanent home and the opportunity to thrive.
awen&co is a brand strategy and design collective founded by creative director Ashley C. The company has worked with more than 260 businesses across New England and beyond since 2015.
